Important Note: These Terms apply to client users of our platform. For practitioners, terms and conditions are governed by our separate Practitioner Network Agreement.
2. About Acurelink
Acurelink LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates an online platform that connects clients with licensed acupuncture practitioners. We provide booking services only and do not provide medical services, advice, or treatment.
3. Service Description
3.1 What We Provide:
- Anonymous appointment booking system
- Secure payment processing for booking fees
- Connection between clients and practitioners
- Appointment confirmation and reminder notifications
- Customer support for booking-related issues
3.2 What We Do NOT Provide:
- Medical services, advice, or treatment
- Medical consultations or diagnoses
- Insurance billing or claims processing
- Practitioner supervision or oversight
- Guarantee of treatment outcomes
4. Anonymous Booking System
4.1 Account Creation:
- Only an email address is required to use our Service
- No personal information, names, or contact details are collected
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
4.2 Booking Process:
- All bookings are processed anonymously
- Practitioners receive only appointment details (date, time, booking confirmation)
- Your privacy is protected through our minimal data collection approach
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Booking Fees:
- A $5 booking fee is charged for each appointment
- This fee ensures mutual respect between clients and practitioners
- Payment is processed through secure third-party processors (Apple Pay, PayPal, Stripe)
5.2 Payment Terms:
- All fees are due at the time of booking
- We do not store your payment information
- Payment processing is subject to third-party processor terms
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
6.1 24-Hour Policy:
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment
- Cancellations made with 24+ hours notice receive full credit conversion
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice forfeit the booking fee
6.2 Credit System:
- Eligible cancellations are converted to account credits
- Credits can be used for future appointments without time restrictions
- Credits are non-refundable but have no expiration date
6.3 No Cash Refunds:
- We do not provide cash refunds for any reason
- All eligible cancellations are processed as account credits only
7. Practitioner Relationship
7.1 Independent Practitioners:
- All practitioners are independent contractors
- We do not employ or supervise practitioners
- Treatment decisions are solely between you and your practitioner
7.2 Our Role:
- We provide booking services only
- We do not interfere in client-practitioner relationships
- We do not access or store your health information
7.3 Practitioner Responsibility:
- Practitioners are responsible for their own licensing and insurance
- Treatment quality and outcomes are the practitioner's responsibility
- Any disputes regarding treatment should be addressed directly with the practitioner
8. User Responsibilities
8.1 Account Security:
- Keep your account information secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
8.2 Accurate Information:
- Provide accurate email address for communications
- Ensure you can receive appointment notifications
- Update your email address if it changes
8.3 Respectful Use:
- Honor your appointments or cancel within policy guidelines
- Treat practitioners with respect and professionalism
- Do not abuse or misuse our Service
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Service to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the platform
- Interfere with other users' ability to use the Service
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
